Publisher
- Trading name: Netik Studio
- Place of business: Québec (Quebec), Canada
Responsible for publication
Ludovik Laurin, founder and digital strategist.
Reaching us
The studio's email address is not printed in full anywhere on this site: it is carried by the write-to links, here and on the Contact page. This is not affectation — an address written out in a page is harvested within days, one that exists only inside a link far less often. It stays readable on hover and in the page source, which is as it should be: it is a business address meant to receive mail.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., a company established in Lithuania. The servers that serve it and the mailbox that receives form submissions belong to that provider.
Typefaces
Two families, redistributed with this site under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1, which permits that use provided the licence text and copyright notice travel with them:
- Jost — Copyright 2020 The Jost Project Authors. Full licence: /fonts/LICENCE-jost.txt
- Newsreader — Copyright 2020 The Newsreader Project Authors. Full licence: /fonts/LICENCE-newsreader.txt
Photographs and video
The stills and footage in the hero come from Pexels, under the Pexels licence, which allows commercial use with no attribution requirement. We credit their authors anyway: not being obliged to is no reason not to. The named list is kept current and shared on request.
Other photographs and screen captures are the property of Netik Studio or are used with the permission of their owner.
Accessibility
This site aims at level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). What is in place today:
- full keyboard navigation, with a skip link to the main content;
- checked contrast, a coherent heading structure, decorative images hidden from screen readers;
- the animated scene on the home page can be stopped on command, and stops by itself if your system asks for reduced motion.
Accessibility is never finished. If a page resists you, write and tell us which one and with what tool: that is the kind of report that gets fixed quickly.
